My how things change...

When I was a little girl, I would go shopping with my mom...it wasn't so fun, we would be gone all day and my feet would hurt and I didn't make money, therefore, I didn't have money to spend. I hated it!

Then when I was a teenager I would go shopping with my friends. We would get a ride from the parentals and be at the mall for a few hours max and my feet would hurt. I babysat for money and had a little bit to spend. I didn't have much money to spend and I was not real fond of shopping.

When I went to college, I was poor. I had NO money--I got really skinny (that's what happens when you have to live off spaghetti and peanut butter with wheat thins or pb&j). I would go shopping with myself. I had to shop at DI (think BIG thrift store). My feet would hurt...plus I couldn't buy anything because I had no money. I did not like shopping.

Now I am out of college, I have a job...I'm getting fat (too much eating). I watch What Not to Wear, I have my own car and money to put gas in it. I go shopping when I feel like it. Lately that seems like every day. I am getting a nice wardrobe of cute clothes (thanks to What Not to Wear I have learned that FIT is very important) and I LOVE shopping! I also am getting smart in my old age and instead of wearing my "cute" shoes shopping...I wear the COMFORTABLE ones shopping...that way my feet don't hurt! I did buy 4 pairs of amazing shoes on Tuesday...

OOOPS!!!

I love What Not to Wear! It has done wonderful things for my closet...if I don't love it, I don't buy it. I always thing to myself when I try things on - What would Stacey and Clinton think?
